Honor Guard

Purpose

The Rowlett Fire Rescue Honor Guard exists to provide honor and dignity to its members and their families through the recognition of ceremony and tradition.

About the Guard

The Honor Guard consists of 13 members from various ranks within the department and exists primarily to honor fallen firefighters in the event of a line-of-duty death (LODD).

The Honor Guard provides other services to the department as well. From time to time, the Guard will facilitate special events such as memorials, promotional ceremonies and parades.
