The Golf Advisory Board is comprised of five regular members appointed by the City Council who serve staggered two-year terms and two alternate members appointed by the City Council annually.

Duties and responsibilities of the Golf Advisory Board include acting in an advisory capacity to provide observations and make recommendations to the City Council regarding operations and maintenance of the municipal golf course, the Waterview Golf Course.
The Golf Advisory Board has 12 meetings per year. In addition to the monthly meetings, each board member is given one free golf pass per month to aid in making recommendations to staff and City Council.

We’re looking for committed residents willing to volunteer a few hours of their time each month to serve on a board or commission. Applications are available in the City Secretary’s Office in the City Hall Municipal Center at 4000 Main Street. Completed applications can be dropped off at the City Secretary’s Office, faxed to 972-412-6118 or emailed to the City Secretary’s Office.
