How can I do business with the City?: The first step in conducting business with the City of Rowlett is to complete and return the Bidder/Vendor Application. We will use this information to add/update your company in our vendor database. Once added to our vendor database, we will be able to use a cross-reference function to reveal possible vendors for specific products and services as needed.

1. How can I do business with the City?: The first step in conducting business with the City of Rowlett is to complete and return the Bidder/Vendor Application. We will use this information to add/update your company in our vendor database. Once added to our vendor database, we will be able to use a cross-reference function to reveal possible vendors for specific products and services as needed.

2. How do I obtain a bid tabulation?: Bid tabulations are distributed to the bidders for formal sealed bids as soon as they are completed and posted to the website on the Bid Tabulations page (see link below). A bid tabulation may be requested by emailing Purchasing@rowlett.com. Bid Tabulations

How are mowing services bid?: The mowing services bid is separated into 5 sections: Section I - Neighborhood Services Section II - Streetscapes Section III - Right of ways, alleys, medians Section IV - Park acreage Section V - Wastewater lift stations (Maintained by City staff since August 2014) Annual contracts have been awarded for all sections. Section I will bid again mid 2024 if all renewal options are exercised – (1 Year Contract and 4 ea., 1 year renewal options) Section II will bid again in early 2026 if all renewal options are exercised - (1 Year Contract and 4 ea, 1 year renewal options) Section III will bid again in early 2025 if all renewal options are exercised - (1 Year Contract and 4 ea, 1 year renewal options) Section IV will bid again in early 2025 – (1 Year Contract and 4 ea, 1 year renewal options

4. When are City auctions held?: Surplus and salvage items are sold in an online auction as needed. Most auctions are coordinated by Rene Bates Auctioneers, 4660 County Road 1006, McKinney, Texas, 75071, www.renebates.com. Items are sold as is with “no warranty".
